Once again Ian Hunter, the legend from Mott The Hoople. Here in a re-uploading from my old site Falke58. Orginal done in 2009-03-05. Morons. Yeah they are all over the world. You will meet them out in the country, in the city, yeah everywhere. The song Morons is taken from the album of Rant. Rant is the 10th solo of Ian Hunter. Unlike some of his previous albums, Hunter wrote all tracks. It is also his most political album in 25 years. Rant was also a comeback for Hunter in that way as songwriter where he goes back to his roots, also first album for over ten years who sold very well. Ian Hunter - This is hysterical as well as historical. Robbie Alter, the guitarrplayer asked me in 1998 to write a song like Marionette (The Hoople) and I asked why. He said I was the only one that could do that so I did "Morons", just for fun. I used to like that quasi-opera style a lot at one time. I´d been trying to write this lyric for a long time and once it was done it opened the floodgat! es for "Rant album". The whole political thing in England has been running round my head for ages.
